The Arlberg tunnel on the S 16 Arlberg expressway between Tyrol and Vorarlberg will be closed to all traffic in both directions from April 15 to November 22, 2024.
We recommend traveling by train or via the following alternative routes:
- Arlbergpass road (B 197/L 197)
- Rosenheim-Munich route (Germany)
- Gotthard (Switzerland)
- San Bernardino (Switzerland)

Our Kösslerhof is located in the middle of the beautiful St. Anton am Arlberg. Only a few hundred meters behind the hotel you will find numerous hiking trails and in winter the main slope nr. 50.
Arrival on rails...
Sit comfortably on the train, let the landscape pass by and get off the train in St. Anton already recovered. Is there a better start to your vacation? We don’t think so, and by the way, traveling by public transport protects our precious nature.
